Mark joined ISIS in 1999 to set up and develop the regional office infrastructure. He has led numerous investments, including Fat Face, Staffline, blue 8, ASSA, Wiggle and Williams Medical Supplies.
An economics graduate from Nottingham University, Mark worked for Barclays for ten years before joining ISIS. During that time, his roles ranged from venture capital to consumer marketing and he was privileged to work in many of his favourite cities including London, Hong Kong, New York and, of course, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
A bit about me:
When I was 7, I wanted to be a scuba diver. With laser eyes.
My other dream job: the arts would beckon. I would tread the boards. Move over George Clooney. Or at least Danny Baker.
My favourite place is New York on a chilly day. Whilst there I must eat 2 hots dogs in Central Park for lunch with mustard and sauerkraut (no ketchup).
My proudest ISIS moment is selling our investment in Fat Face for great returns, and watching the team we put together go on and build the business so well.
