Pete joined ISIS in 2002 to open the Manchester office and head up new investment activity in the region. In 2007, following the success of ISIS in the North of England, Pete took up the challenge of a new role taking responsibility for the VCT portfolio on a national basis, which currently includes c. 20 businesses. His deals include Carnell, Brownsword, Americana, LBM, Reed & Mackay and The SLC Group. He currently sits on the boards of Carnell, LBM, The SLC Group, Occam, Reed & Mackay, Nexus and Credit Solutions.
After gaining an engineering degree, Pete worked first for Rio Tinto and then Electrocomponents for ten years before joining KPMG's management consultancy division. He subsequently spent three years with Murray Johnstone's private equity business, where his focus was private equity.
A bit about me:
I want my children to play rugby like McCaw, cricket like Flintoff and humour like Kay and Connolly.
When I was 7, I wanted to be 15 - the big lads seemed to have much more fun and excitement than we did.
My perfect day would be walking on a clear autumn day in the lakes with my family and the dog and then finding a place by a roaring log fire to have dinner and a few drinks.
