Active Assistance
Active Assistance provides a live-in care service for adults and children with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions. Many of their clients are tetraplegics, requiring a consistently high-quality level of care from the businesses carers, or PA's.
In March 2008, ISIS invested in Active Assistance enabling MD Andrew Allan to continue to focus on delivering the consistently high levels of quality of service to clients, and continued investment in recruitment, training and development. In 2009 Active Assistance won a UK National Training Award in the Medium Size Employers category for their PA training and development programme, adding to the many awards received in the past for their service excellence.
In March 2010, ISIS realised its investment in Active Assistance after a merger with First Call Care Services, to create a national provider of live-in and live-out care to individuals with complex long term conditions.
