ISIS are proud supporters of the Impetus Trust
About the Impetus Trust
Impetus has built a proven track record in providing strategic financial support and expertise to enable ambitious charities and social enterprises to achieve a transformational change in their performance. Impetus supports organisations over a defined period of time to enable them to become more robust and sustainable by the end of the relationship. Impetus brings new money into the third sector through its donor base and leverages sustainable additional value from co-investment funding and pro-bono expertise to deliver a social return to its donors.
ISIS has committed to contributing both financial support and operational expertise for the charities that Impetus backs. During the partnership, ISIS will work with the Impetus charity applicants in carrying out due diligence and will also play a part in the post-investment development process of the Impetus Charities by monitoring progress and achievements of agreed targets through to actively working with the charity management teams.

Active Support
James Titmuss, ISIS & Street League
New Investment team member James Titmuss worked with Impetus and one of their charities, Street League. Street League works with disadvantaged young people and adults in the UK using the power of sport through a structured football and education programme that helps build confidence, improve health, extend social networks, and develop skills towards long-term education, employment and independence.
Street League currently work in London and Glasgow. James Titmuss carried out some work on the market in Glasgow for their services and an analysis of football in the community programmes run the by the football clubs in the area. This highlighted the differentiated offering of Street League and helped support a successful application for invesment from Inspiring Scotland.
James comments: "We were able to take advantage of some of the skills we normally use in assessing investment opportunities to demonstrate Street League's differentiated offering in engaging with young adults through football. It was particularly pleasing that this helped to support a successful grant application that will enable them to expand their service in Glasgow."
