ISIS appoints Steven Dunne

ISIS Equity Partners plc (ISIS) has strengthened its team by appointing Steven Dunne who has responsibility for managing an unquoted portfolio of investments with a focus on strategy reviews, shareholder value and exit planning and execution.

Dunne was previously with P&O where he was responsible for transaction management and operational review of a number of divisions. Prior to this he was with Grenadier Capital, a small advisory and venture capital house, where he was an owner manager having participated in the MBO from a larger financial institution.

Dunne, an economics graduate from Cambridge University, began his career in 1990 with Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers) where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He then joined the corporate finance department of HSBC Investment Bank where he was involved in flotations, public acquisitions, rights issues and MBOs. In 1996 he moved to Wassall plc, an acquisitive conglomerate specialising in turnaround situations structured as private equity deals, where his role encompassed public and private acquisitions, post transaction monitoring and disposals.

Commenting on the appointment Adam Holloway, who heads up ISIS' portfolio management, said: "We are delighted to have Steven join ISIS. His extensive and varied experience further strengthens ISIS' role in adding value to the companies we invest in. Steven's appointment demonstrates the importance we attach to portfolio management and generating high returns from exits, such as AIMS Group, blue 8 Technologies, Refresco Holding, Thomas Sanderson and Tricom Group."
