Hawksmere employs 60 staff. Turnover in the current year is c. £12m. Ian Crompton and Raphael Charon of HSBC plc provided term debt and working capital facilities, to support the transaction. Paul Morris, Investment Director, who led the transaction with David Sherratt, Director, New Investments, commented that: "Hawksmere and its management team have an excellent reputation and brand recognition in the market place. The buy out will enable the team, led by Michael Bentley, to consolidate these achievements and continue to develop the range of courses it can offer."
