ISIS Equity Partners strengthens London team

ISIS Equity Partners plc ("ISISEP") is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Garside as a team leader within the London new investments team.

Andrew has considerable private equity experience from 14 years at 3i, latterly as the Director responsible for 3i's operations in Yorkshire and the North East. Andrew was responsible for completing a range of successful and profitable deals including care homes business Castlebeck Care and HPI, the motor vehicle data provider. In recent years, Andrew was the director leading such deals as the £56m MBO of Extec quarry crushers, the £57m development capital fund raising for Smart & Cook insurance brokers and the £18m MBO of Zenith Vehicle Contracts.

This is another key step in the growth of ISISEP, following the recent announcement of the recruitment of Richard Bucknell in Birmingham and Neil Bennett in London.

Wol Kolade, Managing Director of ISIS Equity Partners, commented: "We are committed to becoming the preferred equity funder for ambitious companies across the UK. It was important for us to build the experience base in London and we are delighted to have Andrew on board."

Andrew Garside added: "I have known and respected the ISISEP team for some time and I rate highly the ambition and rigour of the business. I am eager to get into the South East market and help the team increase the rate of investment in attractive opportunities."
