My role at ISIS is continually developing. Having first joined in 2006 on a 12 month placement as an undergraduate Research Analyst, I was fortunate enough to return to ISIS in March 2011 as an Executive in the investment team. The majority of my time involves researching and discovering new investment opportunities and working with the team to develop relationships with entrepreneurs, advisors and businesses across the North of the UK.

I’m also actively involved in developing ISIS’s membership of the Global Alliance, an association of “top-tier” private equity players from Europe and Asia. The alliance provides ISIS and investee companies exclusive access to a global network of people and knowledge.

I graduated from Nottingham Business School before embarking on a career in Banking at NABs Corporate and Structured Finance team where I qualified as a Chartered Banker. During my 2.5 years with NAB I worked with a range of SME and mid-market corporate customers, during arguably the toughest recession many of them had ever traded through.

Re-joining ISIS was an easy choice; having experienced
the entrepreneurial culture and ethos of ISIS previously and avidly followed its continual successful exits through the recession, I knew it was a firm I wanted to be a member
of again.

My favourite moment with ISIS was seeing the development of an investment idea I suggested as undergraduate develop into a prospect: a relationship and an investment all in 12 months.

About me
Little known fact: My Under 15 Cricket Club debut bowling figures, aged 11, were 3-1-8-3!! Clearly I didn’t fulfill my potential to lead the England bowling attack!

Outside of work I… Have a broad interest in sports namely football, cricket, boxing, formula one and golf.

Perfect day:
Flying to Monaco to watch the Grand Prix followed by an evening hopping from yacht to yacht, partying till sunrise!!

What makes me get out of bed in the morning?
I genuinely enjoy spending time with entrepreneurs and management teams, learning about their businesses.
