I spend a lot of my time researching and tracking new opportunities then undertaking an initial assessment and testing potential investment structures. I meet exciting entrepreneurs operating across a wide range of sectors, which gives me the chance to understand the challenges and opportunities available to the business.

Coming from a line of accountants, I trained as a Chartered Accountant straight from school before spending five years advising on transactions initially in the North and then latterly in KPMG London. After 12 years of advising clients, it has really given me the clear understanding of the complexities of running a growing business as well as the passion to want to help and work with owner-managed businesses.

What I enjoy most about this business is seeing investment ideas coming in and developing over time.

Little known fact: When I was 10, I proudly built a battery powered go-kart. When I was 25, I caused the A19 to close after my car caught fire!

Outside of work I… Am recently married, love travelling, a keen motorsport enthusiast and a bad golfer.
