Alison Carnwath
Alison has been a non-executive director of ISIS since December 2000, and currently chairs our Investment Committee and Management Board.

Benoit joined ISIS in 2007 as a member of the new investments team, and has completed the investments in TVC and Playforce.

Pete joined ISIS in 2002 to open the Manchester office and head up new investment activity in the region. Following the success of ISIS in the North of England over the past five years Pete has recently taken a new national role taking responsibility for the VCT portfolio, which currently includes more than 20 businesses.

Fiona joined ISIS in 2001 and focusses on investor relations and fundraising.

Sheenagh joined ISIS in 1997 and is our Chief Operating Officer. Before joining ISIS, Sheenagh spent six years at Grant Thornton, where her experience included both corporate finance, advising on private equity transactions and corporate recovery.

Andrew joined the new investment team at ISIS in 2005 and leads the new investment activity in the Financial Services sector.

Since joining ISIS in 1999 to further develop and run the portfolio management function, Adam has handled several successful investments through to exit, including Fat Face, kidsunlimited, Refresco and Tricom.

Chris joined ISIS in July 2008 and is involved primarily in the VCT team.

Liz joined the new investment team at ISIS in 2001. Her completed investments include Care Management Group, MORI, SLR and Martin Audio.

Wol joined ISIS in January 1993 and is Managing Partner of the business. His role encompasses overall responsibility for the strategic development of ISIS, and active involvement in investments.

Het is the fund manager of Baronsmead AIM VCT. She worked at 3i from 1998 to 2002 being the fund manager of the 3i smaller Quoted Companies Trust.

Sam joined ISIS in September 2008 from Lehman Brothers M&A and A.T. Kearney before that.

Prem joined ISIS in April 2005 and is our Chief Financial Officer with finance and client reporting responsibility for the institutional and retail funds.

Since joining the new investment team in 2003, Paul has completed investments in businesses such as TVC, Hawksmere, Enotria, Crew Clothing and CableCom.

Tim focuses on deal origination and business development across all sectors. He travels throughout the UK to meet with owners and managers of interesting businesses to understand their funding needs.

Daniel leads ISIS's activity in the leisure sector and his most recent investments include Traveljigsaw, an international online B2C car hire broker and On the Beach, an online retailer of beach holidays.

David joined ISIS in 1995, became Managing Director in 1997 and Chairman in 2001. David launched the Baronsmead VCT in 1995 and there are now five VCTs in the 'Baronsmead Family'.

Mark joined ISIS in 2001 to work specifically with investee companies in the portfolio management team. He has managed numerous investments, including LBM, Enotria, Williams Medical Supplies and The Art Group whilst leading various successful exits, such as Americana, Staffline, Thomas Sanderson and Blue 8.

Ken joined ISIS in February 2007 as a fund manager on the quote investment team.

Gareth joined ISIS in 2004. He manages a number of investments including Crew Clothing Co., TVC, Empire World Trade and Playforce and has completed exits with RLA Group and Hawksmere.

Shani leads the London buyout team. Her recent investments include Traveljigsaw, Equiom, Enotria and Reach and she numbers MORI, Language Line and Refresco amongst her exited investments.

Mark joined ISIS in 1999 to set up and develop the regional office infrastructure. He has led numerous investments, including Fat Face, Staffline, blue 8, bonmarche, ASSA, Wiggle and Williams Medical Supplies.

Richard joined the new investments team at ISIS in February 2005 and is based in the Birmingham office.

Matt joined ISIS in October 2005 and to date has completed the buyouts of ScriptSwitch, Quantix, Empire World Trade and Green Issues.

Charlie joined the Birmingham office in June 2006 as a member of the new investments team.

Simon joined the new investments team at ISIS in 2002. Based in our Midlands office, he leads ISIS's business services sector focus, and has been involved in a number of investments including Traveljigsaw, Equiom, Credit Solutions and Occam.

David joined the new investment team at ISIS at the start of 2008 and is primarily focused across the North of England.

James joined ISIS in 2004 and works on new investments across the North of England. He completed the investment in Boldon James in May 2005.

Based in the Manchester office, Andy joined ISIS in 2003 to lead investments, primarily focusing in the North of England.

James joined ISIS in 2006 and works on new investments in the North of England and also has a nationwide focus on the financial services sector.

The Staffline management team needed all of their experience to cope with an unforeseen shift in supply-and-demand balance.
